M1911 Model

So I've been trying to think of what object would be fun, challenging, and not pull your hair out difficult to texture without a great knowledge of painting textures and what not. So I decided to model this Colt 45. M1911 as its' design is rather simple, but iconic and unique. Anyhow here is a turnaround of the basic mesh I have so far.

The Springs

So here is a Steam Punk Jazz band in which I created from the inner depths of my mind.

I'm working on turning them all into working 3d models but that may just have to be my summer project lol, anyhow THE SPRINGS......also merry Christmas Abby I hope she enjoys this lol

Red's Knife Basic Texture

So I modeled this knife pretty quick and then decided to use it as my first moderately complex shape to attempt to texture and here is the basic look of it. There are a lot of distortions and visible seems in the UVs but I will have to save that for tomorrow due to the fact that I may have to pull my hair out XD

So I played with the lighting some more and this is what I came up with, I'm moderately satisfied with it though I will go back and play with the colors again later on. I felt it was a bit less jumbled and chaotic, but ehhhh derp

E's Concepts

Elenor or E for short, is one of my less undeveloped characters in which I haven't figured out much of her story. Being the only female protagonist though she has to break the balance with a male dominate military unit, and show the boys up every now and again. E and Frank though act as almost the big brother and little sister pair of the squad; they have been through a lot together in this chaotic war and share a platonic, family relationship, though it may possibly turn into something else as I figure out the rest of this epic tale.

The Tower Concepts

Here is frank aka "The Tower". Known for his ridiculous size and stature, standing at 8 feet tall and 350 pounds of damn near pure muscle; the rest belongs to his big heart and protective nature. Frank plays the big brother role in this team of 4 and is willing to risk himself in order save his squad, no matter how painful his death may be. Though he has faced death many times, this bulk of a man manages to grapple it and throw it into a choke hold of god like strength. Frank is truly a TANK!

Red Character Concepts

Here is Red. He is the psycho of the group, but in a good way. I have it so initially in the story Red is the more mysterious character with an unknown background, though it can be assumed that it is rather tragic due to his obsession with the blood and gore of his enemies.

John Esborn Concepts

This is the main protagonist in the story, john is the rookie of the FLAK squad he is assigned too and acts as the fool archetype, or in other words makes all of the situation more difficult than they have to be due to his inexperience and naive nature.
