Stand-In Reload Cycle

Hey guys! So here is a stand-in reload animation I have been working on in order to further progress towards uploading some of these basic assets to Unity and actually get to working with the engine. My plan is to use the animation parsing functionality of Unity in order to splice this animation up to assign them to contextual keyboard/mouse inputs. Anyhow enjoy everyone and as always thanks for being interested!

Some Craptastic Walk Animation Stand-Ins!

Played around with the Animation Rig I came up with for the stand-in character model and came up with a decently craptastic walk cycle. Hopefully I'll get a better grasp on walk cycles in the future, time to study walking vids! Anyhow enjoy, and thanks for stopping by.

Setting up stand-in character model with gun. Animations hopefully soon!!

Using an old animation rig just to get the basic rig set up for later character models. Took a few tries but I finally got her on the right path. Note to self always animate separate objects with separate rigs, otherwise bad things happen, very bad things. Anyhow, hopefully I can get some test animations into unity to set up some animation sequencing with the game logic by tomorrow night. Not expecting anything too fancy but it should do the trick while i figure out the best work flow for all of this. As always enjoy and come back again!

Another G36c Update

Not much progress as I ran into a lot of problems with doing a single 4k res texture, I have however relearned the quirks of texturing and put some AO and normal mapping. Here is a sample of my WOP. As always enjoy!

What Ever Happened to That G36c?

So here is that G36c I was working on forever ago. It is now fully modeled, and even UV unwrapped!!! All it needs now is some fancy textures and normal maps. Ended up with about 5.5k polys, may downsize if necessary. I also decided to try a single texture map for the entire model, should be interesting learning how to work with that however it shouldn't be too hard. Anyhow look back for a finished product here in the future and as always, enjoy!

Picked Up My Tablet Again!

So It's been a while since I have posted anything to the blog, so I picked up my tablet and have been doodling the past two days. Here is the best one I ended up with. So enjoy!
